The inside of the bistrot is a large restaurant, empty at the moment, all the tables set with real napkins folded to stand up. I'm on the terrasse, which is still indoors because the bistro is actually inside a shopping mall. This place is part of the Mövenpick chain, apparently, which qualifies its existence here. It's on the uppermost floor of the shopping center, so there is plenty of natural light coming in through the windows that arch of the main artery of the mall.
My rather large Lavazza espresso cup was filled to the rim and accompanied by a packet of Lavazza sugar cubes. On the menu an espresso is referred to as a Café Lavazza. I guess the Lavazza kickbacks help pay for the extra bit of coffee I was served.
I am not in Paris. Outside this mall are only apartment complexes and administrative buildings. The mall is nice enough, I guess, lots of light and plants and chain stores. In other words, there is no reason for me to ever come all the way out here again.
