There's a cd jukebox here that spontaneously played the song "Sex Machine" a few minutes ago. No one has approached the thing since I got here. A couple of guys are on the other side of the jukebox playing a bumpers game. There's a pinball game here, too -- it looks like "Monster Bash," but I'm not sure.

There's a restaurant upstairs, but there doesn't seem to be anyone up there. I'm in a little section of black-edged white tables and maroon-painted metal chairs with maroon-red cushioned seats. On the other side of the entrance is a section of tables with white plastic lawn chairs. There's a little divider to my left, on the other side of which is a larger area that includes a few booths. A few guys are sitting around drinking coffee and/or scratching off lottery tickets.

The jukebox started up again and played for us another Motown selection. The man who brought me my espresso and packet of sugar cubes has just stacked up a few of the lawn chairs, and then, as an afterthought, switched off the jukebox.
